QUILTING WILL DOMINATE THE NEXT FEW MONTHS

TIME TO GET THIS FINISHED - 10 YEARS WORK IN PROGRESS

I MIGHT HAVE TAKEN ON MORE THAN I SHOULD.

I decide to check some numbers. A Half Marathon is 26 kilometres. I was thinking it's only 14 but that's miles. Help! I'm not sure I will be able to complete the distance but I can do the 12 week training schedule. Time will tell.

I went for a walk today, a little longer than planned to make up for being slack yesterday. I want to reach my goal for the week. School holidays are under way and we had a nice fine day. Although I felt cool when I left home and grabbed a jersey I was hot and sweaty by the time I got home. There are quite a few people around and even some playing in the water. No camera so no photos.

I'm tired and need to go to bed. I was going to soak in the bath and wash my hair too late to wash my hair now.

TWJ mowed our lawn yesterday and helped get all the laundry done. We had 4 sets of new sheets we put through a warm soapy wash. Now we can manage visitors beds a lot easier. It feels odd to have 3 days in a row with no rain.

Long day tomorrow as we leave home at 8.30 am so TWJ can see a specialist at Thames Hospital. Another Cafe meal as we'll have lunch before we come home.

Tie to sign off and get some sleep.

Don't worry right now about finishing. Like you said, you can do the training. Go with that and then take it from there. You're moving and that's great!!
New sheets - I LOVE new sheets! (it's the little things sometimes).

Thank you for your prayers and encouragement!! I will be praying for you for your talk in November! Please let me know if there is anything in particular I can be praying for.

Blessings ~ diane :)

I can understand being tired of ready for bed. For me JUST THINKING about that long walk would exhaust me. You can do it!

Take each day as it comes girl... if the distance is too far on the day, then just know you tried and did your best. Good luck at the hospital today.

I liked what Diane said... don't worry about finishing.

I mean, wow, just the training for it alone will be a very healthy thing! And even if you only did it part way, it can still be such fun and you get to see how far you can go. You'll be proud of yourself just for trying!
