I DID IT AND I'LL DO IT AGAIN TODAY

.
For Chris H

Simpsons Beach, (Wharekaho)

My photographic proof of yesterday's winter afternoon walk on the beach. This was my first deliberate walk for weeks and weeks. I enjoyed it so much. Why did I keep putting it off?

Because I'm intrinsically lazy. What else can I say!

Yay for Day 1 of your Forever Plan! I just read your post, Our Bodies Are Designed To Move, and related to a lot of it. Especially the part about how the very thing that has been so helpful, blogging and reading blogs, takes up so much time.

I've been thinking of that very thing, too. I love it, and it has truly helped me, yet there is only so much time in the day! Your post gave me a lot to think about.

Loved the beach photos from your walk! My favorites were the birds swooping low along the surf.

If you won't walk on that beautiful beach for you, will you walk on it for me? :)

Well done, Margie Anne!

My goodness, going my all your photos your mother must live very close
to my father-in-law who is at No 66. It is a beautiful part of the
world.

Sigh... Stew and I used to walk along Simpsons beach most evenings after work when we lived in Whiti... homesick!
Love the photos, so glad you are walking on our favourite beach... the house at the end of Wharekaho Crescent, with the curved roof and round steel beams was one we always drooled over... it was sold a while ago... we so wanted to buy it... but sadly we didn't win LOTTO!

You have such a beautiful location for a walk. That has to be motivating. I'll bet it's fabulous at both sunset and sunrise.

Oh so pretty! I'll admit I'm a little jealous of the weather you're having.
Great job on starting your daily walk!
