TROUBLE IN PARADISE

Lady Laptop is out of action for at least a week. Been penetrated by too many nasties to mention, so off to be sorted out. This is daughter's slow as broadband.

I'm eating like there is no tomorrow and there won't be if I keep this up.

Good news is this. TWJ & I sleep in our own bed, back in Matarangi, for the next 2 nights. All day tomorrow to sort me out!

Tuesday Jay & I have the big trip to Auckland to pick up our kittens. Then there will be fun as we get used to full-time indoor cats and train them to walk an leash. 2 kittens is a scary thought but we won't be bored .... that's for sure.

Sorry I haven't up-dated for a while but will be back safe and sound soon.

Os wanted to see the movie Prince Caspian, (Narnia Series), so I went with him on Tuesday night. We were the only ones in the Twin Theatre Complex, so a private viewing just for us. The photo is a local beauty spot, Cathedral Cove, where filming took place for one of the early scenes in the movie.

We have another call to fame .... Hobbiton .... Matamata, which features in Lord of the Rings and the next film to be made also, I believe, was built and filmed on the farm next to my father's .... well we used to own it. Dad sold it in 1972 but that's where we lived when I got married.

yay for the kittens! cant wait to see more photos of them as you introduce them to their new way of life :)

nz is sooo beautiful you are very lucky to live there margieanne :) to think that beauty like that cant be recreated by technology and special effects for movies and that they choose to use such a lovely place to film their movies.

cant wait to see you back and raring to go!
